Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
- 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Directions:
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautéing until onion is translucent.
