Shrimp Mac and Cheese

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Add paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar and Parmesan until melted.
  7. Fold in cooked macaroni, lobster, and shrimp.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
